One again, the ranks of the Android platform mobile phones made by Sony Ericsson to add options for users. This time, the phone is intended for fans of music. W8 Sony Ericsson's Walkman phones announced its launch on Thursday (21/04/2011) in certain areas only.
"The series of Walkman phones we continue to generate demand, especially in the Asia Pacific and China, where Sony Ericsson's Walkman phone will be launched exclusively W8," said Djunadi Satrio, Head of Marketing at Sony Ericsson Indonesia in the press release.
This latest Walkman phone features a user interface that can be adjusted for one-touch access to a user's favorite applications such as on a series of mini Xperia product. Sony Ericsson's Walkman phones W8 allows quick and easy access to playlists and the Walkman player. The phone also comes equipped with a stereo headset MH410.
"Sony Ericsson's Walkman phone combines the functions of the Walkman ™ W8 with the basic principles of smartphones, like the application, maps and email to create the most entertaining smartphones," added Djunadi.
Sony Ericsson's Walkman phones W8 using 3-inch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, video recorder functions, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. In contrast to non-music ponsle, W8 is equipped with features and UI design Walkman Walkman like widgets on the homepage. W8 using Android 2.1 platform
