BMW Motorrad, the motorcycle division of BMW AG, announced its cooperation with the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) to supply the BMW R 1200 RT-Police strengthen traffic patrol units. No fewer than 34 units will be delivered moge until June 2011 to rejuvenate the mounts.
Honolulu Police Department has 12 years of relying on BMW as a patrol vehicle. In addition to escort the guest country, HPD will introduce the new mounts on the program "Say Hi" as a model of interaction between police and school students.
